With American health care known for having some of the most staggering prices in the world, many rely on a private health insurance plan to absorb and mitigate the costs of their services. Those living in New York can access all the “essential” benefits in accordance with the Affordable Care Act when they enroll in the government-sponsored Essential Plan with Emblem Health– in just 3 easy steps!

Enrollment Process:

  1. Fill out our secure portal with all relevant documents and information regarding your status in the United States. Be detailed, especially with your personal information, including addresses, social security numbers (if applicable), and income history.
  2. We will submit your application to New York State of Health (NYSOH).
  3. We will send you a confirmation email once your application is successfully submitted

The process of submitting the application takes approximately 1-2 business days.

After NYSOH accepts your application, insurance documents will be mailed to you within 15-20 business days.

Please note that if you intend to submit your coverage to a school in New York State and use your insurance there, you may also be asked to provide proof of Medical Evacuation and Repatriation coverage on the side. We can also assist you to enroll in our dedicated Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Only Plan for only $8/month!
