Yes! ISO insurance plans are designed to meet Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's waiver criteria for international students. After enrolling in an ISO plan, you can submit a waiver to opt out of the schools default health insurance plan
Yes! In the very unlikely event your waiver is denied due to plan benefits, we’ll work with you to try and get it approved. If we can’t help resolve it, you’ll get a full refund—just make sure to reach out within 30 days of your plan’s start date.
After purchasing your ISO plan, head to the ERNIE website and log in using the link provided by your school. You will be asked to fill out a quick waiver form there.
Make sure you submit it before the waiver deadline to avoid being charged for the school plan. Please note that students are required to submit a waiver once per academic year, during the Fall term.
With an ISO plan, you’ll have access to in-network providers through the Aetna PPO network, giving you flexibility to choose care both near campus and nationwide.
