Virginia Tech requires health insurance coverage from the first day of classes through the end of your graduation month. ISO plans offer flexible enrollment options, ranging from 5 to 12 months. Be sure to purchase your plan and submit your waiver request by the school’s deadline.

After purchasing your ISO plan, visit the Virginia Tech Student Medical Insurance website and click on "Request a Waiver." Log in with your VT credentials, complete the waiver form, and upload your ISO insurance documents.
